Motorcycle Trip: Transfiguration Chapel of Caleruega

Even with our busy schedules at work, making a living, we still sneak some of our time to take a break from stress at work to enjoy life and have some fun.

On one long weekend, we, RideOut decided to visit the Transfiguration Chapel of Caleruega located at Batulao, Nasugbu, Batangas. The term "Caleruega" is a town in Spain, and the birthplace of St. Dominic de Guzman, father of the Order of Preachers. The Filipino Dominicans wanted to honor and remember the legacy of their founder that is why they named this place 'Caleruega" and with hopes that this would be a birthplace - a genesis for people speaking to and from the Divine Creator.

(I think this is the Admin Building.. )
(**insert sad emoji** 'coz I failed to take a picture of the church as my phone got drained)

The place are open for retreats and recollections; leadership and team building camps; prayer and renewal workshops; marriage and family encounters; wedding and receptions; art, music, liturgy and Care for Creation workshops.

When I first visit this place, it was for my Bestfriend's Wedding.. And honestly, I instantly fell in-love with the place! ♥ No wonder why this place is a popular wedding venue. The place has picturesque view overlooking the Mt. Batulao, it has lush scenery, and colorful flowers. Plus, it is relatively quiet and peaceful there.

In addition, it is also open for sight-seeing and even picnics with the family or friends, just make sure to practice CLAYGO (clean as you go) to maintain the cleanliness of the place. And remember to stay quiet as this is a retreat place. There are also tents and tables you can use. Here, you'll feel closer to nature as there are lots of plants and trees here. There are also Koi ponds which I enjoyed watching while Koi's are swimming. ((: There are also times you'll see them as if they were showing-off their skills to you as they are jumping out of the water. The air you breathe are fresh and the views and very relaxing. There are also Kampo Restrooms for public use.

What to see inside the park:
